Mrs A was lonely after her husband had died. Wellbeing Options provided her with information on local social and lunch clubs in her area.

Miss B cares for her father who is 85 and is living with dementia. She would like some support for herself in her caring role. Wellbeing Options signposted Miss B to local carers’ services to support her.

Mr C’s mother is 90. She has had a fall recently and after a recent hospital stay, needs either support at home or to consider moving into a care home. Mr C found useful information about care at home and care homes on Wellbeing Options.

Mr D is recovering from mental illness and feels ready to do some training or volunteering as a step towards re-entering the workplace. He found information about suitable courses and support on Wellbeing Options.

Wellbeing College

The Wellbeing College

Provides courses, activities and groups to Bath & North East Somerset residents aged 16 or over, or those who are registered with a GP in the area.

Courses cover a range of areas including physical and mental wellbeing, stress, nutrition, social support, IT and many more.

These may be one-off workshops or longer courses and are provided across the locality in various community venues. Most courses, activities and groups are FREE.
